Happy Birthday and A Trip To the Zoo

Today is Martin's 4th birthday. I can't believe how fast the time flies. He is such a character and loves to keep everyone he knows entertained. However, if you don't know him he is very shy. Hard to believe one of J.R. and I's kids could be shy, but he is. We had a birthday party for him on Saturday. We had a Handy Manny cake, ice cream, and presents. He got spoiled and has already caught on to the concept that he is now four. He holds up the four fingers and everything. He is really growing up and getting more and more individuality everyday. It still boggles my mind how kids are so different from one another and develop differently in their own ways, but that's what makes them who they are.
He received lots of fun things:
Handy Manny tool set/Nanna and Grandad
Handy Manny chair/Wyatt and Max
Handy Manny Clothes and Bumble Spud/Grandma and Grandpa
Handy Manny with small tools/ Mom and Dad
Two cool t-shirts/Trevor and Wendy
Two Handy Manny storybooks/ Tandra
Star Wars dishes and a shirt/ Tyler and Damara

Opening Presents.

Handy Manny Excitement.

Handy Manny chair his brothers gave him.

Grandma and Grandpa with all the boys.

Grandma and Grandpa with the Birthday boy.

So happy to get Bumble Spud.

Handy Manny cake mommy decorated.

I'm 4 today.

We also got to go to the zoo last night with J.R.'s work. It was lots of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. CRI paid for all of us to get into the zoo and they also had Bubba's BBQ cater dinner in for all of us. It was Max's first trip to a zoo and he would bounce in his stroller when the monkeys would come up to the glass. He was to short to see much else and fell asleep before we were done. Oh well! Martin's favorite thing was the monkey's also and I think Wyatt liked the Otters or the Snake the best. It was nice to get out and do something fun with the kids.

Arrival at the zoo.

This peacock was just running crazy. I had to fight to keep Martin from trying to pet it. He was so close to the kids.

Max crashed. What a life.

Riding the tiger. The tigers were taking baths when we saw them.

The lion drinking fountain. Who doesn't love that?

FUN AT THE CHILDREN'S ZOO!
